ClientFinder Website
Making Lead Discovery Clear, Credible and Actionable for Freelance Video Editors
The Background
ClientFinder is a Luminary Lines product built for freelance video editors who need a clearer way to find potential clients. The product brings together creator discovery, lead scoring and a personalised first message in one workflow.
The website needed to make that workflow understandable before a visitor ever signed in: who it is for, how it works, what a lead includes and what happens next.
The Challenge
Lead discovery is a complex offer to explain. A visitor needs to understand more than the promise of finding clients. They need to know why a creator is relevant, what information they receive and how the credit model works.
The design challenge: turn a multi-step product into a simple, confident decision.
The experience needed to answer four questions in the right order:
- Is this for me? Establish a clear audience: freelance video editors.
- How does it work? Explain the path from a niche to a scored lead and a first message.
- What am I paying for? Connect monthly plans, credits and leads with contacts.
- What do I do next? Make the sign-in journey easy to find and understand.
The visual direction also needed to balance a distinctive product identity with readable messaging and an uncluttered page.
The Solution
The website is organised around a direct sequence: understand the offer, see the workflow, compare the plans and get started. Each section answers the next question a prospective user is likely to have.
Positioning & Audience
The opening statement, “Never run out of clients again,” is supported by a concrete explanation of the product. The audience label makes the intended user explicit: freelance video editors.
Product Story & Information Hierarchy
The workflow is broken into three numbered steps: pick a niche, get scored leads and send a first message. This turns a broad promise into a visible sequence, with details such as subscriber range, language, editing gaps and contact information placed alongside the relevant step.
Visual Direction
A black-and-white palette, a subtle dotted background and restrained highlights create a focused SaaS identity. Large typography gives the promise room to breathe, while the darker interface keeps attention on the copy and the next action.
Pricing Clarity
Two monthly plans sit side by side, with lead allowances and prices clearly paired. The explanation “1 credit = 1 lead with a contact” establishes the unit of value. Supporting copy addresses additional credits and failed or empty searches.
From Interest to Sign-In
Get started and plan-selection buttons lead into the same sign-in page. That page explains the email-code process before asking for an email address, keeping the next step clear and consistent with the landing page.
The Results
The delivered website brings positioning, product education, pricing and sign-in into one coherent public experience.
- A clear audience: the hero identifies freelance video editors and explains the offer in plain language.
- A visible product journey: three numbered steps connect discovery to outreach.
- Transparent plan comparison: visitors can compare monthly lead allowances and understand the credit model.
- A consistent next step: the main calls to action guide visitors into the sign-in journey.
- A focused visual system: dark surfaces, readable typography and restrained detail support the product story.
The result is a focused digital home for the product: one audience, a clear explanation and a direct path from discovery to getting started.
The Design Takeaway
A strong product website makes the path from “What is this?” to “What happens next?” easy to follow. ClientFinder keeps that path focused on one audience, three steps and a clear choice of plans.
